Emergency Medicine Journal is an international peer reviewed journal covering pre-hospital and hospital emergency medicine, and critical care. The journal publishes original research, evidence-based reviews and commentaries on resuscitation, trauma, minor injuries, disaster preparedness and response, toxicology, acute medical and paediatric emergencies, diagnostic testing, teaching, clinical operations, decision making and reflections on clinical practice. The journal is aimed at doctors, nurses, paramedics and ambulance staff.

Topic Collection: Health Inequities and Public Health in Emergency Medicine

There is increasing recognition of the impact of health inequities on medical care, with growing research on how emergency care can mitigate disparities and support interventions to improve health outcomes. Emergency Medicine Journal is calling for submissions to a topic collection showcasing research and initiatives that address and mitigate health inequalities in emergency medicine.
